The European branch annual general meeting (AGM) will feature a presentation from an industry senior employer at London-based law firm Harbottle Lewis.
As the financial crisis sends the markets in to chaos, many industry professionals are left struggling with uncertain market situations and many challenging questions.
Michael Clinch, partner at Harbottle Lewis, will provide members with guidance in the current economic climate by discussing fraudulent and wrongful trading, and some of the key issues facing directors.
Mr Clinch is experienced in large and complex commercial litigation, and trading standards investigations. He also advises on liquidations, bankruptcies, the sale of assets or businesses, and restructuring and recovery.
Mr Clinch's presentation is expected to be particularly relevant and useful to professionals in the small to medium enterprises sector where they occupy the organisation's most senior accounting position.
The AGM will be held from 6.30 pm to 8.30 pm on Thursday 20 November at the Strand Palace Hotel, 372 The Strand, London.
