Getting and keeping good staff: HR issues and challenges in small firms

This research was conducted by Monash University and commissioned by CPA Australia through its research grant scheme.

The report investigates a series of questions in relation to human resource management (HRM) in small firms. In particular, it aims to understand the HRM practices used by small firms and considers the effect of the Federal Government’s reforms to industrial relations on their practices.
